Woah, What’s going on?

Card Trick Music have officially taken over as promoters at the SX Bar, behind The Essex Arms in Brentwood. The SX Bar has been a key staple venue of the Essex live scene for years, and we’re thrilled to be taking it on!
We’re honouring all of the existing bookings - so if you’d planned to come along to a gig at SX Bar don’t worry - it’s still happening and your tickets are still valid. It’ll just be our team’s happy little faces you see when you arrive!

What kind of music do you play here?

Well we have both kinds - covers and originals…

We’re keen to show off the enormous array of talent from across the UK and beyond. We’ll be prioritising local legends, of course. Our nights will be curated - so each lineup will be perfectly balanced. That said, nights will vary from alternative rock, to pop punk, to dance, to metal, to psychadelia, to folk, to funk and more!!
